Magnesium nitrate is an inorganic compound that is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, and liquid ammonia. Its aqueous solution is neutral. It can be used as a dehydrating agent, catalyst, and wheat ashing agent for concentrated nitric acid.
Listed in the List of Explosive Hazardous Chemicals and controlled in accordance with the Measures for Public Security Management of Explosive Hazardous Chemicals.
Storage method
Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse. Stay away from sparks and heat sources. The packaging must be sealed and not damp. It should be stored separately from combustible materials, reducing agents, etc., and should not be stored together. The storage area should be equipped with appropriate materials to contain leaked materials.
